WINDHOEK， Sept. 29 (Xinhua) -- Namibia's Ministry of International Relations and Cooperation said the UNAIDS has shown trust and confidence in the efforts of the leadership of Namibia， in making a contribution to the lives of young women on the world stage.
The Ministry said this on Thursday in a congratulatory message to First Lady， Monica Geingos， following her appointment as UNAIDS Special Advocate for Young Women and Adolescent Girls.
Geingos was presented with the role during a meeting that took place on the margins of the 71st Session of the United Nations General Assembly.
Through the appointment， Geingos is expected to champion the newly launched Start Free， Stay Free， AIDS Free agenda， an agenda to put the world on a Super-Fast-Track to end HIVAIDS among children， adolescents and young women by 2020.
Furthermore， through this agenda， she will advocate for the improvement of the health of adolescent girls and young women， and will be tasked， specifically， with the responsibility of using her platform to find partners and solutions to some of the difficult health issues facing young women and adolescent girls， including HIV prevention and sexual and reproductive health， as well as access to education.

Behind a career day for quarterback Matt Schaub, the Houston Texans erased a 17-14 halftime deficit to score– points in the second half and defeat the host Cincinnati Bengals 28-17. Schaub threw for 342 yards and 4 touchdowns against one interception in the solid road victory. Against a team that had won three straight games in the final seconds, Houston never gave Cincinnati the chance to create any late drama. Cincinnati dropped to 4-2 with the loss while Houston evened their record at 3-3.
Houston took the money as +3′ road underdogs with the outright win, and both teams are now 3-3 on the season against the NFL pointspread.
