JAKARTA Cheap Nike Air Presto , Aug. 11 (Xinhua) -- The Indonesian Olympic Committee (KOI) sent 27 athletes to Nanjing of China to compete at Youth Olympic Games from Aug. 16 to 28, Rita Subowo chairperson of the committee said here on Monday.
That compared with 12 athletes sent in the Youth Olympic Games in Singapore in 2010.
The 27 athletes would vie on 10 out of 28 sports to be held in the international sport event, said Rita.
"Now we send as many as 27 athletes, outnumbering that of 12 in the past (in 2010 in Singapore)," she disclosed at KOI office at Senayan sport compound.
"This is an extraordinary hike. So, we expect the rise of the number of the athlete to add the number of medals we will bring home," said Rita.
The chairperson revealed that Indonesia targets to win medals from beach volleyball and weightlifting events.
"We see the opportunities at these two sports are big Nike Air Presto Sale ," she added.
In the Youth Olympic Games in Singapore in 2010, Indonesia got 1 bronze medal from weightlifting, according to the KOI.
Among the ten sports to be participated by the Indonesian athletes are athletics, badminton, weightlifting, swimming, beach volleyball Nike Air Presto Ultra Breathe , canoe, basketball, archery and shooting.
VIENNA, June 23 (Xinhua) -- Gerhard Roiss, CEO of top Austrian gas company OMV, on Monday defended the South Stream gas pipeline project and stressed Europe's dependence on Russian energy.
In light of the recent turmoil between Russia and Ukraine, Roiss said a supply of energy to Europe without Russia in the picture is an unrealistic scenario.
Europe currently receives one third of its gas from Russia Nike Air Presto Ultra Flyknit , in some regions even up to 100 percent, and Europe provides cars and machines as an economic exchange.
"One should not make this economic integration into a political football," he told the Wirtschaftsblatt economic newspaper, adding that it was a basis for economic prosperity.
His comments came the day before a visit to Austria by Russian President Vladimir Putin, with whom he is expected to sign a contract agreed upon in April on bringing the South Stream gas pipeline, which would not pass through Ukraine, to Austria.
Roiss renewed his backing for the project and called for its acceleration Nike Air Presto Ultra , while acknowledging it would still have to conform to European law.
The European Commission has said the project could potentially be approved, but Roiss acknowledged a main sticking point is due to both its ownership and operation remaining in the hands of Russian-owned Gazprom, which is against EU law.
He said while the laws of the EU undoubtedly should be applied to such instances, exceptions could be made in some areas, though the onus would be on Gazprom to negotiate.
Roiss also called for the construction of a larger number of gas pipelines in the continent to create a "real cross-border flow" as he believed the current network of gas highways "isn't working."

DAMASCUS, Sept. 28 (Xinhua) -- The Islamic State (IS) group said it had captured two Russian soldiers in the countryside of Syria's eastern province of Deir al-Zour, the group's Amaq news agency reported on Thursday.
The IS abducted two Russian soldiers and a Syrian soldier in the town of Sholah in the western desert of Deir al-Zour, Amaq reported.

BEIJING, Sept. 28 (Xinhua) -- By the end of next year, all criminal detention centers and courts in China will be staffed with duty lawyers to provide legal consultations, according to a Ministry of Justice official.
Bai Ping, head of the ministry's legal assistance department Nike Air Presto , made the remarks at a press conference Thursday.
The duty lawyers will also provide other procedural services for suspects and defendants, the ministry said in a statement.
Legal assistance stations have been set up in about 88 percent of criminal detention centers and 51.7 percent of courts. This year, legal assistance lawyers have been consulted by suspects or defendants 167,000 times.
