HOUSTON Isaac Seumalo Eagles Jersey , Sept. 19 (Xinhua) -- Greg Abbott, Governor of Texas, the United States, announced Tuesday that Texas would partner with FirstNet and AT&T to deliver a wireless broadband network to the state's public safety community.

"The safety and security of Texas communities is my number one priority, and I want to provide our first responders with the best technology possible," said Abbott.

According to a press release by the governor office on Tuesday, the FirstNet network will provide Texas with modernized devices, apps and tools for first responders to boost their communication abilities on the job.

This plan will improve public safety and enhance emergency preparedness across the state by providing first responders with cutting edge communication technologies.

The governor said, "as we saw in the aftermath of Hurricane Harvey, our first responders are often the last and only hope for safety in rapidly-changing and life-threatening situations, but this partnership with FirstNet and AT&T, allows Texas's fire, police, EMS and other public safety personnel to be better equipped when responding in these emergencies."

Hurricane Harvey blew ashore on Aug. 25 as the most powerful hurricane to hit Texas in more than 50 years, displacing over one million and damaging some 200,000 houses in the area.

LONDON, Sept. 19 (Xinhua) -- The home of Liverpool FC is to be transformed into Fortress Anfield, with an intensive program of anti-terrorism measures to prevent fans being mown down in repeats of attacks what happened in London, Paris and other places.

The club's Paisley Square, Centenary Stand and Anfield Road end are earmarked for the most intensive security measures, with counter terrorism measures that will include heavy duty bollards to prevent vehicle access, so called Jersey barriers and an earth bund on Anfield Road close to the area where visiting fans are accommodated in the stadium.

A planning application submitting to city council officials says the area around the recently extended Centenary Stand has been identified as a particular security risk.

A report detailing the plans says the entrances to the Centenary stand area are a main point of fan convergence, and there is a risk that a vehicle could gain access to fans entering or leaving the stadium via this entrance.

The introduction of bollards would intercept vehicles travelling towards the entrances from directions where speed could be increased.

The crowd of automotive fanatics at Vehicles and Coffee in Irvine, CA seldom gets also excited about a automobile. Each thing from idea cars to pre-production designs to dozens of supercars are pretty commonplace in the weekly gathering. Ferraris and Lamborghinis roll by without eliciting a second glance from onlookers, and even the mighty Bugatti Veyron only attracts minimal consideration. It requires some thing distinctive car get everyone’s blood pumping at one of the most jaded automobile show on the Earth. Which takes us to the the Hennessey Venom GT.

Since 1991, Hennessey Efficiency Engineering has been in the business sector of taking crazy-fast automobiles such as Dodge Vipers, Ford GTs, and Chevrolet Corvettes and turning them into tire-melting monsters for only the most talented (and well-heeled) of drivers. In the course of an official Road and Track Shoot-out, Hennessey’s Dodge Viper in fact beat a Bugatti Veyron’s time by four seconds. But these could all happen to be mere warm-up acts for its wildest and most special supercar ever, the Venom GT.

builds severe vehicles, and the Venom GT is no diverse. The 2011 Hennessey Venom GT is primarily based off the Lotus Exige mold, when developed, sold, and completely tested, will show to become a valued adversary of the quickest cars globally.

The Venom GT appears like a spooky, matte-black Lotus Exige as a result of the fact that’s what it can be. Nicely, a lowered Lotus Exige widened by 12 ins, stretched by 18 ins, and powered by the astonishing, supercharged LS9 V-8 that powers the brutal Chevrolet Corvette ZR1. As soon as you have got your head concerning the production of the tweaked LS9, which ranges from 725 to 1200 hp, contemplate that the motor automobile is anticipated to weigh only 2400 pounds. As described by Hennessey, the Venom GT will get from 0-60 MPH in two.5 seconds and from 0-200 MPH in 15.9 seconds (although the Bugatti Veyron does it in 24.two) The automobile will get in the future with the assistance of a 6-speed Ricardo transmission and KW Variant 3 adjustable coilovers will suck up the uneven road on all four corners despite the fact that Brembo 6-piston calipers will squeeze the rotors till the vehicle comes to a halt. Carbon fiber is employed for much in your body and all four wheels, the latter wrapped in pricey, steam-roller-wide Miche.
