ISLAMABAD, Sept. 9 (Xinhua) -- Law enforcement agencies arrested seven militants during a search operation in Pakistan's southern port city of Karachi on Saturday, local Urdu media reported.
Police and paramilitary troops launched a joint operation in Gulistan-e-Johar area of the city Jordan 1 Wheat Pre Order , by acting on an intelligence tip-off regarding presence of the militants in the area, Dunya News said.
Police said that the arrested militants are members of proscribed organization Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan.

China's land authorities are establishing a national network to monitor the chemical elements in the soil across the country, in an effort to draw a map that the Xinhua News Agency said is significant to help prevent pollution.
The network, initiated by the Ministry of Land and Resources Jordan 1 Wheat For Sale , covers about 81 chemical indices, of which 78 are chemical elements, and is separated into several small grids.
Each grid has two samples from deep soil and top soil respectively, Xinhua reported.
The deep soil sample is taken from 1 meter underground, representing the chemical condition of unpolluted earth, while the topsoil sample is from 25 centimeters underground Jordan 1s Wheat , reflecting the overlap of the natural geological background and man-made pollution.
Based on the samples, researchers can make a map of man-made pollution of heavy metals, said Xinhua.

Heavy metals are harmful to the environment and human beings and can enter human bodies through air, food and water, Ma Jun, director of the Beijing-based NGO, the Institute of Public and Environmental Affairs Jordan 1 Wheat , told the Global Times.
"Most heavy metals are discharged from industrial production. Since they can't really be secreted by the human body, they can cause fatal chronic diseases," Ma said. "With the marked location of the heavy metals, people could avoid farming in those areas," he noted.
